Care Instructions

Rinse mechanical filter media regularly using water removed from the aquarium during water changes to preserve beneficial bacteria. Clean the impeller every 4–8 weeks to maintain optimum flow and inspect hoses and seals for wear. Replace activated carbon and fine filter wool as required, while ceramic rings should only be gently rinsed in aquarium water and reused. Never clean biological media with tap water, as chlorine can destroy beneficial bacteria.

Unused filters may be returned in their original packaging.
