The Show Quality Panda Oranda is a premium fancy goldfish selected for its impressive body shape, well-developed head growth (wen), flowing fins, and striking black-and-white panda colouration. Each fish has its own unique pattern, making these high-grade Orandas spectacular centrepiece fish for dedicated fancy goldfish aquariums.

Show-quality specimens are selected for superior overall appearance, including body conformation, finnage, colour, pattern, and head development. As Panda Orandas mature, their wen and body shape continue to develop, creating the distinctive rounded appearance for which Orandas are prized.

Feeding

Provide a high-quality diet specifically formulated for fancy goldfish. Quality sinking pellets are an excellent staple food and can be supplemented with gel foods, vegetables, and appropriately sized frozen foods.

Feed smaller portions rather than one large meal and avoid overfeeding. A varied, balanced diet helps support healthy growth, strong colouration, wen development, and overall condition.

Aquarium Care

Panda Orandas require excellent water quality and spacious aquariums with strong filtration, as goldfish produce a significant amount of waste. Regular partial water changes and routine substrate maintenance are essential.

Provide plenty of open swimming space and avoid sharp rocks, rough decorations, or narrow gaps that could damage the fish's delicate fins or wen. Tank mates should ideally be other peaceful fancy goldfish with similar swimming and feeding abilities.

The distinctive black colouration of Panda Orandas can naturally change as the fish matures. Genetics, age, diet, lighting, and environmental conditions can all influence the amount and intensity of black pigmentation over time.
