Live Fish DOA Policy (Dead on Arrival)
At Fins 'N' Feathers, we take great care in packaging and shipping our live fish to ensure they arrive healthy and happy. However, we understand that rare instances can occur during transit.
If your fish arrive DOA (Dead on Arrival), please follow these steps:
- 📸 Take a clear photo of the unopened bag with the deceased fish visible.
- ⏱️ Send the photo to us within 2 hours of delivery time (as recorded by the courier).
- 💬 Include your order number and any relevant details when contacting us.
Once we receive your claim and verify the DOA, we will offer a store credit or replacement, excluding shipping costs. Please note:
- Claims made after 2 hours of delivery will not be accepted.
- Replacements are subject to stock availability.
- We do not offer refunds for change of mind or delivery delays caused by the courier.

All live fish orders are shipped via express courier with insulated packaging to ensure safe transit.
