Mini Driftwood Anubias is an attractive ready-to-use aquarium feature combining natural driftwood with hardy Anubias plants. Each piece creates an instant natural focal point while providing texture, greenery, and shelter for fish and shrimp.

Anubias is one of the easiest aquarium plants to maintain, making these driftwood creations suitable for beginners and experienced aquarists alike. Its tough green leaves grow slowly and perform well in low to moderate lighting without requiring CO₂ injection.

Plant Care

Anubias naturally grows attached to wood and rocks rather than being planted deeply into substrate. The thick horizontal stem, known as the rhizome, should remain exposed to the water. Burying the rhizome can cause it to rot.

Place the driftwood directly into the aquarium wherever you would like the feature positioned. Anubias generally performs best under low to moderate lighting, and excessive lighting may encourage algae growth on its slow-growing leaves.

Remove damaged or ageing leaves when required and provide a quality aquarium liquid fertiliser as part of your normal planted-tank maintenance routine.

Aquascaping Ideas

Use Mini Driftwood Anubias as a standalone feature in nano and small aquariums or combine several pieces with rocks, larger driftwood, mosses, and other live plants to create a detailed natural aquascape.

The wood and broad Anubias leaves also provide excellent resting, grazing, and hiding surfaces for shrimp, Bettas, catfish, and smaller community fish.

Live Arrival

Please inspect your plant immediately upon arrival. Minor leaf damage, colour changes, or temporary deterioration can occur during transport and while the plant adjusts to new aquarium conditions.
