How It Works

Aquarium water is circulated through the purifier, where it passes the UV lamp. Ultraviolet light acts on free-floating organisms passing through the chamber before the water returns to the aquarium.

Because UV treatment only affects organisms that pass through the unit, it does not replace regular aquarium maintenance, water changes, biological filtration, or mechanical filtration.
